The band comes from Sweden, from the ashes of Eternia, and this is the debut album so far. Although a quick listening will end up with a quick conclusion as another Hammerfall copycat, the more cautious listener will scratch the surface, and discover much more. The band is playing Melodic Heavy Metal, with catchy tunes, and memorable melodies, but the songs are well written, with a tight rhythm section, excellent vocals and plenty of nice ideas. Music that might not be the most original one, but seems to come from the deep of their hearts, excellent performance and production, this album is an ideal buy for the lovers of Melodic Metal. With such a debut release, we can only imagine what the continuation will be. Check it out.

Since there is not too much hype about them and since their label is not of the strongest I'm afraid DESTYNATION won't be the new Gods. Pity! 'cause behind the great cover is hidden a Melodic Metal gem... You have to listen to believe!
