SARAH JEZEBEL DEVA new album and tour

After spending 14 years in Cradle Of Filth as a backing singer, she also spent 6 years in Therion and Mortiis. Sarah has sung on over 35 albums with bands including The Kovenant , The Gathering, Mystic Circle, Trigger The Bloodshed and many others. In 2005, joined forces with Chris Rehn and created Angtoria and received an amazing response in Europe.
Although under her solo name, SARAH JEZEBEL DEVA is a touring band and a tight one. "The Corruption Of Mercy"will be released in late June

The Japanese nation has suffered a lot lately under earthquakes and tsunami. AT VANCE´s Olaf Lenk, a man who had some of his biggest success in the land of the rising sun, was shocked to hear from the catastrophe, just like so many others:

“As soon as I heard the news from the things happening in Japan I felt the need of doing at least something little that could help these people and ease the pain. Actually Rick had the idea to release a track and donate everything to Japan. As we thought of a song the Track "Tokyo" came into my mind and I thought it would suit very well. So I hope lots of people buy this one and help these people to get over this horrible situation”, comments Olaf Lenk.

Because of the usual handling time for a CD release, it was decided to make “Tokyo” available as a digital single only. Purchasable NOW on Itunes and other digital stores.

Death Metal Cult legends ROTTREVORE return...

Over the past 16 years a lot has happened with Chris Weber (vocals/ guitarist), Chris Free (bass) and Christian Easley (drums). The band was on a hiatus for almost all of the years from Dec 1995 - Dec 2010. The unreleased tracks, which there are 10 of them, were actually preserved by Chris Weber and were only recently tapped into to reconstruct in Dec 2010. Four of those songs are now going to be recorded and they have the old feel from back when with a new modern feel for today. They have the old school chainsaw guitar rhythms, which they are known for, but also a more technical and of course heavy approach to ensure that they keep the heart of ROTTREVORE alive.

TORNADO ENTER STUDIO TO RECORD NEW ALBUM WITH PETER TAGTGREN

The Tornado boys are all set to travel to the cold north of Sweden where they will enter Abyss Studio with world famous metal producer Peter Tagtgren in control of Production duties.  Tornado will record 12 songs during a 2 week period. Commented singer Joey Severance, “We are all very excited to be going over to Peters spot and doing this album. For me personally, this is a dream come true and as a metal fan, I’m excited to be walking in the footsteps of my musical Heroes .  We’ve been talking  the talk for a long time, now it’s time to walk the walk so to speak…..”

 Frontiers Records announced the signing of Warrant, one of the most popular and successful American hard rock bands to come out of the Los Angeles musical scene. The band is currently in the studio recording a brand new album under the direction of Keith Olsen (Scorpions, Whitesnake and Night Ranger). Veteran Hard Rockers KING KOBRA are back

Formed in 1984 by legendary drummer Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osbourne), Los Angeles heavy metal outfit King Kobra recorded two critically acclaimed albums for Capitol Records – the 1985 release 'Ready to Strike' and 1986's 'Thrill of a Lifetime'.

Along with Carmine, the band featured four relatively unknown musicians at the time – David Michael-Philips and Mick Sweda on guitar, Johnny Rod on bass and Mark Free on lead vocals. King Kobra toured the U.S., Canada, Europe and Mexico playing shows with Kiss, Iron Maiden, Quiet Riot, Ted Nugent, Queensryche and Autograph.

The band was featured regularly on MTV and performed the theme song for the #1 1986 motion picture "Iron Eagle". After disbanding in 1988, each member continued his career in other successful major-label groups - Carmine to Blue Murder (Geffen), Mark Free to Unruly Child (Interscope), Mick Sweda to the BulletBoys (Warner Bros.), Johnny Rod to W.A.S.P. (Capitol/EMI) and David Michael-Philips to Lizzy Borden (Metal Blade).

The year 2010 saw the band reunite the original classic '85 lineup, replacing original singer Mark Free (now Marcie Free) with veteran lead vocalist Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot). “This album captures all the great points we had in the 80's, but better” says Carmine Appice “The music is more traditional King Kobra music. Great lyrics, kick ass songs with cool hooks and really good playing. A really great hard rock/metal record with lots of energy”. David Michael-Phillips adds “It truly is an all-star album. Paul Shortino is amazing! I can honestly say he is one of the best vocalists in the business along with being one of the nicest and most generous people I have ever met”.

The band is planning to get on some targeted American and European summer festivals this year. Watch out: King Kobra is smokin' hot, back stronger than ever and "Ready to Strike" once again!

BLACK MAJESTY - In Your Honour

This is the new album of the band from Australia, and for sure it's gonna be a blast for the fans. This is their fourth album, and in a way, their best so far. Playing Melodic Power Metal and enriching it with touches of Progressive here and there, this album is an instant hit. The music is catchy, and makes you want to move your head along with the rhythm. Very good guitar lines, harsh and well worked vocals, and memorable parts to sing along, are the characteristics of their latest release. The majority of the songs are very good, with nice ideas which the band explores to the best possible way. Slightly heavier than their previous works, this one still has what it takes to be considered as Melodic Metal, but being a bit more complex than before, needs some extra effort to explore their music. The production is very good, and was done by Ronald Grapow at his studios. Black Majesty once again have released an album that will please both new and old fans. It's fast, Heavy, Melodic, catchy, and well worked. What more a fan could ask?
