Indigo Dying, is Gisa Vatcky's first solo attempt, although she has worked with artists like Andrea Bocelli, Enrique Iglesias, Placido Domingo, Melissa Etherige, Meat Loaf just to name a few. Although not familiar with her previous works, I couldn't help but notice the talent of this singer, something rather obvious when your resume contains collaborations with singers like the above mentioned. The music is a mixture of Hard Rock, with enough Metal elements, melodic and catchy, and wrapped around Gisa's vocals, which is somewhat dominating the music, but leaves a good taste after all. The songs are well arranged and performed, and there are hardly a few less good moments. The guest vocals of Michael Kiske, and Mark Boals, only makes things even better and diverse. An album created around a charismatic singer, but also an album so full of nice music that will please all fans of Melodic Hard Rock. Check it out.
