ANDROMEDA - Chimera

This is the third album of the band, featuring music that will please the majority of the fans out there. While listening the album for the first time, it seems like a catchy melodic album, with various hidden jewels to dig out, which is partially true. Only when listening carefully, one can get inside the music, and explore it to the maximum. Melodic and catchy, with a more straight approach than the previous albums, the music will appeal to both fans of Progressive Metal, but also to those that prefer less complexity into their music. Everything here is well balanced, the use of each instrument is not dominating the others, and the vocals come to complete the mosaic. The band has enough ideas, and most of them are well expressed into the music. If you liked their previous works, then this one will also meet your standards.

9/10
