Here's an example of how a band can evolve and progress, without losing it's trademark, which, in our case is the vocals of Sabine, and the way they blend with the music. Lot's of things have changed since their 2000 debut, and things have worked for the band, which is not repeating itself but continues to explore new territories in their music. Melodies are plenty here, strings and pianos are already used as well, but also choirs and backing vocals, giving a more symphonic touch to their music. Of the band is not Sabine alone, since an excellent work has also been done by each of the members. Bombastic, melodic at it's best, sometimes more complex and mind intriguing, this album is a trip to the music Eden indeed. Not an easy album though, cause it needs full attention to unveil the details. An album that will please all the fans of the band, and all those into Melodic Metal.
10/10
