DESASTER - Angelwhore

The story of the band starts back in 1988, with influences from the Thrash scene. This is their fifth album so far, and the Thrash elements are also here, creating a very solid and catchy atmosphere. What the band is playing, can be described as Black Metal mostly, but with tons of nice elements, and excellent guitar riffs, all blended together into a mixture that keeps the interest high until the end. A special effort has been made in the creation of the melodies, which are plenty and wise used, in order not to weak the whole result. Brutal and full of energy, excellent for headbanging, but also melodic when needed, this album has it all.

9/10
