The new album of Katatonia, is a pleasant surprise for both fans, and even wider audiences as well. Moving to the well known dark and melancholic motif, the band enriches their music with excellent melodies, harder parts but also some electronics. Well written music, with a hidden but catchy groove, excellent musicianship and performance, with a dark and depressing atmosphere. An album that will please all fans of the band, but also all those that are into that kind of music.
