This is the third release of the Swedish band, but not exactly an album full of new material, since there are also two cover songs, and some remakes of material from their "The Closed Eyes of Paradise" demo. The sound of the band, for those unfamiliar with their music, is a mixture of Doom, with touches from Gothic and tons of melodies to enrich the whole result. Heavy guitars, huge riffs, brutal vocals blending with female ones, and a dark atmosphere are the key points of this album. The music is very interesting, full of nice ideas, and the changes from melodic to more heavy moments are making things even better. Another thing worth mentioning is the excellent way the keyboards and the piano mixes with the rest of the instruments. If you are a fan of Atmospheric music, this album has plenty to offer.
9/10
