Los Angeles is the brainchild of Michele Luppi, an Italian singer also well known with his work with Vision Divine. This time though, things are not so close to Progressive, since this is a pure AOR album, with guest appearances from artists like Greg Giuffria, enriching the whole result. The arrangements here are exactly what an AOR fan should expect, strong melodies, catchy refrains, memorable hooks and parts to sing along. Excellent vocals, and songs that move to the same high level of quality, this album sounds like it came from the 80's, if it wasn't the modern and shinny production. On the other hand, the songs are a bit more Heavy, and this might appeal to a wider audience as well. If you want melodies, and songs to sing along while driving, or drinking some of those cold beers, seek no more. Give it a try, and it won't let you down.
