SHATTER MESSIAH - God Burns Like Flesh

Take into consideration the sound of Annihilator and Nevermore, two bands with respected careers and huge fan base around the globe. Now imagine a band that combines the technical stuff of Nevermore and Thrash parts a la Annihilator. This is exactly what we have here, and couldn't be otherwise, since the mastermind Curran Murphy has performed with both bands in the past. But tag them as another clone of a famous band, is not fair for the band, since their music is not staying into the common parts, but tries to implement even more elements from other styles as well, and extend this mixture to the maximum. Thrash and Power Metal co-exist with Classic Metal parts, making the music interesting to the last bit. Arrangements full of energy, melodies that stick into your mind, heavy andpowerfull guitar riffs, and a tempo that will keep your neck busy from the first to the last minute, is what the listener will find here. Taking in mind the sound of the band, I get the impression that they should be as good, performing live, either in clubs or wider audiences. Check them out, and you won't regret you did.
