TYR is a band that comes from Feroe Islands, in fact it's the only band I know from there, but this of course, doesn't prevent them from playing excellent music. Judging from the book by it's cover, the listener will understand that the band is playing music that is heavily inspired by the Nordic Mythology, full of nice vocals, melodies and excellent ideas. The music is Heavy enough, catchy and rhythmic, with vocals both in English and in their mother tongue, plenty of Folk elements and reminds you of battles, and Viking warriors. Apart from that though, a very good job has been done, in the arranging area, where the band has blended all it's influences into very interesting music. If you are into Viking Metal (I am not so sure if this term is valid or not - but I think it best describes this style of music) there's plenty to like into this album as well.
