CREMATORY - Pray

The band exists for quite some time, and quality releases has always been one of their trademarks, but this time, they have gone far beyond that. Revisiting their glorious past, singing once again in English, with the vocals divided into clear and brutal ones. The main thing that one notices is the dynamics of the music, with the band creating maybe one of their strongest albums. Melodic and aggressive, with a dark atmosphere and lyrics, this album is certainly a fine example of Gothic Metal. Felix is once again excellent in the Brutal vocals, while Matthias is also making an equally good job in the clear ones, creating a very intriguing result, and adding to the whole darkness that is dominating every aspect of this album. Groovy rhythms, faster or slower, with excellent soundscapes and even some orchestral parts, nice ideas, and very good performance, all these lead to an album that will stay in your cd players for quite some time. If you are a fan of the band, this will bring back memories. If you are new to their sound, well, I thing it's worth the while.
10/10
